02 / SALARIES & DRIVER POOL

Your contest. Your choices.

Upload the player salary CSV downloaded from your chosen platform, or enter salaries below. Salaries are never guessed. Files stay in this browser tab.

No salary file imported. Blank salaries exclude drivers from optimization.

Lap estimates are editable scenarios. Fastest laps are a pace-based proxy because the archive lacks measured fastest-lap history. Adjustments invalidate previous lineups. Blank salary drivers remain in the simulated race.

03 / BUILD YOUR LINEUPS

Optimize projected fantasy points.

Load projections and add salaries to begin.

“Best” means a sequential, constraint-aware choice based on conservative expected points for Cash or an experimental Top-5/Top-10 upside boost for GPP. Exposure percentages apply across the requested portfolio; 50–150 lineups remain disabled pending performance tests. “Best” does not guarantee the mathematically optimal combined portfolio. The base scoring is the highest conservative, uncertainty-adjusted projection under your salary and driver constraints. Raw expected fantasy points remain displayed. Conservative adjustment is a research heuristic (up to 5 DK or 3 FD points per driver), not a calibrated confidence interval. With extra variety, each successive lineup is the best remaining lineup satisfying the overlap limit. This is not a forecast of tournament winnings or a jointly optimized portfolio.

Scoring & model assumptions

FinishDraftKingsFanDuel

Finish points use the complete simulation finish distribution. Place differential uses the imported official grid and mean simulated finish. Before qualifying, research mode omits differential entirely; its totals are incomplete DFS projections and should be rebuilt after qualifying.

Limited driver histories are shrunk toward observed recent team performance when available; missing team evidence remains neutral. Forecast uncertainty is higher when driver and team observations are sparse. Optimizer ranking applies a transparent conservative adjustment, but raw fantasy projections and component totals are unchanged. Team names are matched textually and may miss renamed organizations. These assumptions have not been backtested for DFS accuracy. Estimated laps led and completion use earlier race history, recency weighting and extra weight for the same track/category. Laps led are normalized across the full race field. Fastest laps allocate an assumed 80% of scheduled laps according to model pace and finishing risk. These lap projections are experimental, not a lap-by-lap simulation. No overtime adjustment, ownership projections, contest-field model, payout optimization or validated DFS backtest is included.

DraftKings preset: 6 drivers; $50,000; ±1 per place differential; 0.25 per lap led; 0.45 per fastest lap. FanDuel preset: 5 drivers; $50,000; ±0.5 per place differential; 0.1 per lap led and completed. Classic single-race formats only; no captain or MVP multipliers. Review the displayed preset against your contest rules.
